Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a deep understanding of social determinants of health, and a commitment to advocating for the well-being of underserved populations. As an LCSW, you will play a vital role in providing therapy, case management, and advocacy services to clients across the lifespan.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify clients’ strengths, needs, and treatment goals.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy using a strengths-based and culturally sensitive approach.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients to address mental health concerns, trauma, substance abuse, and other psychosocial stressors.
- Offer crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises or emergencies.
- Provide case management services, including coordinating referrals, accessing community resources, and advocating for clients’ rights and entitlements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, primary care providers, and community agencies, to ensure coordinated and integrated care.
- Advocate for social justice and systemic change to address social inequalities and barriers to mental health care access.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Participate in ongoing supervision, training, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of OR.
- Minimum of 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience providing therapy and case management services to diverse populations.
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills, with proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
- Knowledge of social determinants of health, including poverty, racism, discrimination, and their impact on mental health outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to cultural competence, humility, and social justice in clinical practice.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced clinical setting.
