Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a passion for helping others, and a commitment to delivering high-quality mental health services. As a Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing therapy, and developing treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify mental health concerns, strengths, and treatment goals.
- Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients to address their specific needs and goals.
- Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to coordinate care and provide comprehensive support to clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with professional and legal standards.
- Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in the field of psychology, integrating new knowledge and techniques into clinical practice.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including supervision, training, and continuing education, to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a psychologist in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience providing psychotherapy to individuals across the lifespan.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological tests and measures.
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering evidence-based interventions for a wide range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic alliances with diverse clients.
- Commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in working with clients from diverse backgrounds, including race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
