Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide basic medical care under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and physicians, ensuring that patients receive high-quality and efficient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic patient care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with personal hygiene.
  • Monitor and record patient information, such as changes in condition, in medical records.
  • Assist in the implementation of patient care plans as directed by RNs and physicians.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a high standard of patient care.
  • Prepare and administer injections, dress wounds, and provide other basic treatments.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
  • Respond to patient calls and requests promptly and with a professional attitude.
  • Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures as necessary.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain current knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid LPN license in the state of North Carolina.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a strong commitment to patient care.
