I recently graduated from Morton College with an associate’s degree in applied science for Physical Therapist Assistant. I graduated top of my class, served as the PTA Club President, and was the recipient of the IPTA’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Scholarship. I have completed over 500 clinical hours at multiple locations, where I gained valuable experience in a variety of therapeutic settings, including orthopedics, neurology, and geriatrics. In addition, I have successfully completed and passed the state of Illinois PTA board exam.

Work & Experience
Collaborated with supervising therapists to plan and modify treatment for patients with orthopedic conditions such as knee, shoulder, back, and hip impairments. Manual muscle testing and goniometric data collection used to track improvements.
Delivered post-surgical and sport rehabilitation outpatient care, focusing on therapeutic exercises, and manual tissue mobilization to improve function and reduce pain. Participated in team meetings to collaborate on modification of treatment.
Provided specialized in-patient therapy that focused on amputations, Parkinson’s, stroke, and spinal cord injuries. Implemented safe transfer techniques, used TENS/NMES for reeducation and pain management. Gait and stair training, assistive device training, balance and fall prevention, mirror therapy, and traditional therapeutic exercise utilized.
